Tonight on The Hagmann and Hagmann Report…
Optical dissonance is the difference between what you are looking at versus what you see. It is crucial to employ your discernment within this dynamic to isolate the truth from the camera fodder.
Over the past week, the news cycles are rife with optics that leave the average viewer thinking, “huh?” The beatdowns in Berkeley and New York City, preceded by the sucker punch knock out of a street minister at Portland International Airport. The rioters and violence inciting instigators wave signs for the cameras that decry the exact behavior that they are demonstrating simultaneously and in real time. Similarly, politicians up and down the hog trough claim that the burgeoning (and very lucrative) surveillance state, backed up by Federally financed Robocops, is an inconvenient necessity in the modern age of the Global War on Terror. Meanwhile these same bleach toothed, forked tongue shysters play PC politics with your safety and push their powdered milk-thin rhetoric about the American melting pot and our duty to “Bring us your poor, you naked, unwashed, blah, blah, blah.” Anyone else here just at their absolute wit’s end with this?
