The Ingrained Barbarity of Islam

The recent barbarity inflicted upon the people of Israel shocked many across the world. The bloodthirsty and demonically inspired massacre of innocent men, women, children, and even infants, was rightly denounced by many as the wickedness it was. Of course, those controlled by bloodlust and hatred, which is to say by demons, celebrated the raping, beheading, and brutality of the Hamas Islamists who perpetrated this madness.

God will not be mocked and He will judge not just those who celebrate, enabled, and supplied the actual murderers with the opportunity to carry out this travesty, but all the people who smirked and threw out the ignorant platitude “Zionism is equally evil and therefore the Israelis deserved what they received.” Let me say this plainly to all the “Zionism is evil” crowd, which includes many who believe they are born-again Christians: Your blatant animosity toward anything Jewish or pertaining to Israel, is a clear sign that you do not understand God, His Word, or the mission of the ecclesia in these end times.

As I was traveling to an appointment today, this teaching was playing on our radio station. God’s timing is perfect. We must awake from the demonic-Islamic tranquilizer that has produced a deep and ignorant stupor to fall upon people with the available means to stop this madness.

A Much Needed Reminder – Pastor Mike Spaulding

Welcome to 2021! If you are like me to any degree, you are not sad to see 2020 go away. Here in Ohio, we have experienced things I never thought possible, most of them instigated by our Governor and his enablers in the state’s senate and house.

Have you considered that 2021 may be a continuation of 2020? What makes us think that once the calendar turns to 2021 things will change? There is certainly nothing magical about a new day or year under the same circumstances. What Americans are experiencing right now will not change unless Americans determine to take appropriate action to change their circumstances.

One thing among many that 2020 has cemented in the consciousness of a growing number of Americans is this – elected representatives at both the state and federal level do not respect those they claim to represent. This disrespect has been decades in the making but has finally been unveiled for even the casual observer to notice. The year 2020 pulled back the curtain, rent every remaining thread of illusion that politicians are not simply wholly owned by corporations, foreign governments, and their financial bag-men otherwise known as lobbyists, notwithstanding their periodic reelection speeches to the contrary.

The True Basis and Meaning of “Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain” in Mark 11.

Mark’s Gospel is replete with theological gems worthy of the time to mine them. None is more important to the times we live in today than the entire vignette of Jesus and the disciples leaving the temple complex, Jesus’ cursing of the fig tree, and His admonition concerning “this mountain.”

The first item I would like for you to consider is that the expectation of the Messiah was also, of course, the expectation of His Kingdom’s arrival. The disciples were not wrong in thinking that way. The church age was a mystery to them.

That’s the primary reason the Jews wanted Messiah to arrive – to overthrow Rome. Then there’s the question of the Abrahamic Covenant fulfillment, especially the land aspect of that covenant.
